Babes & Books: Everything Is Figureoutable Review

IMG_0247

Hello Loves! I’m here to bring you some serious FIRE. Warning: Do not read this book  if you aren’t ready to put workboots on your dreams and start making things happen now.

I recently discovered Marie Forleo and I must say I LOVE her! Her vibe is on fire and she just happens to be the realest motivational author I’ve come across in awhile.  I discovered this book while browsing my local library. Not gonna lie, I originally picked up the book because I was….(please don’t judge)….in love with the cover.

I renewed the heck out the book before I decided to buckle down and read it and really dive deep into the true meaning of this book (You will need a notebook and lots of sticky notes). Marie basically speaks to you as you read. Each chapter comes with a call to action and a variety of prompts for reflection.

I particularly fell in love with this book when I made a connection to a sermon I heard and I remember writing down in my notes “you are the solution to a problem in the world.” When you think about that idea, anything you use day to day including things you love; they all started off as an idea and someone decided to act on that idea – hello internet, hello planes, hello stoplights.

Even if you aren’t a reader, or have time to read (which is an excuse) she has a Podcast too!

If you could do anything in the world and you know you wouldn’t fail what would it be and why?

Biggest Takeaways:

1. All Problems (or Dreams) are Figureoutable.

2.  If a Problem is not Figureoutable, it’s not a problem. It’s a fact of life or law of nature (death or gravity).

3. You may not care enough to solve this problem or care to pursue
this particular dream which is okay ,but find something that really
sets your heart on fire, then go back to rule #1.

You wouldn't have the dream if you didn't already

have the courage to make it happen.
